Water Softeners

If you live in San Antonio, you’ve likely seen the negative effects of hard water. From damaging your fixtures and appliances to leaving a scaly residue that requires more soap and detergent to get truly clean results, hard water can wreak havoc on your home. Through a conventional ion-exchange, recommended for those in our area, a water softener removes the magnesium and calcium particles from your home’s water supply, preventing mineral buildup and extending the life of your water-consuming appliances. Whether you’re in need of water softener troubleshooting, repairs, or installation, North East is here to help.

Water Filters

A water filter’s primary function is to remove harmful contaminants such as chlorine, metals, and sediments. In doing so, water filters extract impurities that can cause health issues and improve the taste, smell, and look of your water. North East offers two types of water filters: point-of-use and point-of-entry.

Point-of-use water filters, such as Reverse Osmosis systems located under the sink, deliver filtered water to one or two fixtures in the home, after undergoing a multi-stage filtration process.

Point-of-entry or whole house water filters, such as active carbon water filters, attach to your home’s main water supply line. It filters the water that enters your home and ensures that all your fixtures receive clean, treated water, free of chlorine, which is particularly high in the San Antonio area.
